Lonestar was the trade name of Die Casting Machine Tools Ltd and they started making die-cast toys after the war which where intially distributed by The Crescent Toy Company, mostly under that company's name. In 1950 they arranged their own distribution directly to the wholesalers. Many of the early models and the models from the 60's are now very rare and can command premium prices.
